About Us

Amy is the founder and Director of Thriving Minds Occupational Therapy and is an experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist. 

Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Monash University in 2009.  Amy has worked across a variety of settings in Australia and the UK, including acute inpatient wards, case management, as an educator a Recovery College in the UK and within a residential psychosocial rehabilitation program. 

Amy has extensive experience with the NDIS, including supporting with access requests, planning meetings and providing ongoing therapy and collaboration with service providers.   Amy has a strong passion for working closely with participants and their families to support them towards their recovery and therapy goals, whether that’s improving self care, domestic skills or being able to access the community. 

When she is not working, Amy loves spending time with her energetic 6 year old twins and getting out into the garden. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Occupational Therapy Australia Association.
